General router settings for O2 Broadband

If you want to configure your own router for O2 Broadband, you will have to enter a few settings first. The settings you need are as follows.


LLU connections (The Basics, The All Rounder, The Works)

Dynamic IP address:

Routing protocol: Bridged Ethernet, Ethernet over ATM, RFC 1483, RFC 2684
IP address: choose to get dynamically from the ISP
DNS servers: choose to get automatically from the ISP
Multiplexing method: LLC-Based
VPI: 0
VCI: 101
ADSL Mode: Auto
MTU: 1500

Static IP address:

As above, apart from IP address and DNS servers. You will need to enter your IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway as supplied by O2.
You can use either or both of these O2 servers for DNS: 87.194.255.154, 87.194.255.155.

IP address: choose to get dynamically from the ISP

VCI: 38
ADSL Mode: Auto
MTU: 1500
